Today’s guest is Tonya Logan, the Founder & CEO of Kayla’s Village, author of Mommie’s Bright Sunshine, with nearly 30 years of professional clinical experience working with those managing conflict and trauma. She has spent the bulk of her career working with families at-risk of abuse and/or neglect, facilitating 10-week grief groups for those impacted by homicide, assisting students diagnosed with emotional disturbance and/or autism, and now provides counseling to individuals, couples, and families. Tonya is also on the Advisory Board of the Center for Infant and Child Loss.

Tonya M. Logan, LICSW, LCSW-C, Founder of Kayla's Village, began her child welfare social work career in 1991. She has D.C. and Maryland licenses, has worked full time and contractually at several agencies, and serves on an Advisory Committee. Tonya has provided services to many children between the ages of birth and twenty-one connected to the foster care system as well as families at-risk of abuse and neglect. She conducts training seminars, is a published author, and is parenting two children, one who joined the family via adoption.
